Fans of the San Diego Padres have become accustomed to the brilliant defense of all-star third baseman, Manny Machado. Local TV broadcaster, Mark “Mudcat” Grant, punctuates these spectacular moments with his catch-phrase… “You just got Machado’d!”

After an impressive bare-handed catch against the Cubs in the 2025 season, cameras caught Manny confidently wagging his finger while Grant declared that the Cubs batter Busch, had just been “Machado’d.” This is my one-page comic of the play.
